Oxytocin is a Film directed by Milo Cremer Eindhoven. This film is set in a dystopian world where humanity has moved underground, their every movement controlled. Conversation and most of human contact has been made illegal. This is for the sake of a governing system, which throughout the film is not named but is represented by a pixelated eye icon.
In this project I worked closely with the director. I was an influence on the inner-workings of the story and how the governing system would be perceived. I created a geometric uppercase typeface and visual style inspired by the location. I created typographic posters, which encompass the tone of voice, production methods, and restrictions imposed by the governing system. From that point I went on to create the opening animatic.
I worked with the costume, editing and sound to make sure the visual system was consistent throughout.
