Crime Prevention Posters

We were asked by the Home office to create a series of posters. These posters would be displayed at sites of social housing. The intended impact of this poster campaign was to create a behaviour change, encouraging residents to lock their doors and windows of their homes, which in turn reduces burglaries.

Solution

The copy team generated the concept of using a cat as a burglar metaphor. I created atmospheric, shadowy, dramatic compositions inspired by the film noir genre which contrasts to the friendly persona of the domestic cat.
